ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

TIMPSWALO in Changana (southern language of Mozambique) means "one who has love and grace in his heart". Thus, was born in Lugar do Infante in Mahubo, approximately 55 km from Maputo, a project to assist a very needy community.

The space, a 1-hectare plot of land, was purchased by people with Timpswalo, touched in their hearts by the many needs and difficulties of the community living at km10 of Mahubo.

CHILDREN'S SUPPORT

A hot soup with all possible vegetables, rice, beans and pasta. At least once a month, these children eat something to nourish them. Our aim is to be able to guarantee them a daily meal in the future.

SUPPORT FOR THE ELDERLY

Food, medicine, but also clothing and shoes are important. At the moment, we guarantee, with the help of our sponsors, 32 baskets of basic food items for elderly people who cannot move around because they have some kind of disability, because they live alone. We also have 10 disabled children who benefit from this initiative.

PHYTOTHERAPY

The pharmacy. After the consultation, patients go to the pharmacy where they are supplied with the prescribed medication. This work is shared by the FSF - Fraternidade sem Fronteiras and Grupo Arco-Íris Maputo

TIMPSWALO

He who has love and grace in his heart

Having as a premise "Outside of Charity there is no Salvation" and so that they can enjoy a higher condition and a more dignified life we commit ourselves daily to gather human means (volunteers) and Financial Resources (donations) so that, on the second Saturday of each month, we can help those who need it most in the Mahubo10 community, at Lugar do Infante.

To bring together more and more volunteers and donors so that on a daily basis, and not monthly as we have been doing, we can provide an improvement in the condition of the population and disadvantaged groups (with special focus on children and the elderly) on the path to economic, social and human development of the community;

Our values focus on creating projects promoting education, food assistance; educational; health; youth empowerment; self-income generation; development education, human development and humanitarian and emergency aid.
